I got a new one and put it in but it is stuck in neutral. I can hear the encoder motor switching between 2h and all when I push the different buttons but it is still in neutral.I have a 2000 Silverado 1500 4x4 4.8. I have been having problems with the 4x4 in my truck for probably 6 months now. I will turn the truck on, the 4 HI light will flash immediately, the front diff actuator will try to engage, but will revert back, and the transfer case will not shift. At this point the lights will all shut off.Non-lint cloth. Step 1: Grab a flashlight and look under the four-wheel drive vehicle for any oil on the ground.
